Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Lead Site Engineer to oversee the technical execution of major civil infrastructure projects. This fully remote role requires guiding site engineering teams, ensuring compliance with design specs, standards, and safety protocols, and driving quality across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, PrEng registration preferred, and at least 8 years of site supervision experience on large projects.

• PrEng registration with ECSA is highly preferred.
• 8+ years of site supervision and management experience.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, water/wastewater).

• Ability to manage remote site teams effectively.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of extensive experience in civil engineering site supervision and management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, water/wastewater systems).
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and digital collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor engineering teams effectively, especially in a remote setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse project stakeholders.
• Familiarity with contract administration and claims management is advantageous.
