Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientist to lead formulation development from pre-formulation to clinical trial material manufacturing. This remote position offers flexibility to work from anywhere and contribute to cutting-edge pharmaceutical research.

You will design and optimize dosage forms, including solids, liquids, and sterile products, applying DoE methods and ensuring GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in pharmaceutical formulation development.
• Experience with multiple dosage forms including solids, liquids, and sterile products.
• Strong GMP and regulatory knowledge for drug development.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead formulation development of new drug candidates across solid, injectable and topical forms.
• Perform pre-formulation studies to characterize drug substances and excipients.
• Develop and optimize formulation processes using DoE principles.
• Scale-up from laboratory to pilot and commercial scales.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions and internal reports.
