Placements24 seeks a seasoned Lead Frontend Developer to steer the frontend vision for our remote-first startup. You will lead a skilled team, set coding standards, mentor juniors, and deliver high-quality, scalable interfaces across web platforms.

You will shape architecture, collaborate with backend, UI/UX, and product partners, and champion performance and maintainability. A strong remote-first culture enables collaboration and growth from anywhere in the country.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading frontend teams.
• Expertise in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and at least one modern framework (React/Vue/Angular).
• Strong knowledge of state management, build tools, and frontend testing.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous requests.
• Solid grasp of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Git version control experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Lead and mentor a frontend team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Architect, design, and implement scalable frontend solutions with modern JS frameworks.
• Define coding standards, best practices, and processes for the frontend team.
• Collaborate with backend, UI/UX, and product managers to define requirements.
• Oversee reusable components and frontend libraries for consistency.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Conduct code reviews and promote continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on frontend tech trends and evaluate new tools.
