Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to design and drive cloud strategies for enterprise clients. You will lead architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring security, scalability and cost efficiency in a fully remote, globally distributed team.

You will mentor engineers, translate business needs into robust technical designs, and oversee migrations, DR and compliance programs, while staying ahead of cloud innovations and best practices.

Formación

• Advanced degree or equivalent in IT, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years IT infrastructure experience with 7+ years in cloud architecture.
• Proven ability to design large-scale, mission-critical cloud solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage and databases.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions on major platforms (AWS , Azure, GCP).

• Oversee the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural blueprints.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and provide expert-level solutions.
• Stay current with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to clients.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Ensure solutions are designed for high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 7 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS , Azure, or GCP), with broad knowledge across all.
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale, mission-critical cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and database services.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker , Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform , CloudFormation, ARM templates).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and architectural design skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, vital for a remote leadership role.
• Experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
