Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to design end-to-end cloud strategies for enterprise clients, primarily using AWS and Azure. This remote role emphasizes client-facing leadership and architectural excellence in a global, remote-first team.

You will mentor junior architects, develop blueprints, and guide migrations, security, and cost optimization across cloud platforms. A track record of complex deployments and strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years IT experience with a focus on cloud architecture and solution design (AWS, Azure).
• Proven experience deploying complex, enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, databases, and data analytics in a cloud context.
• Excellent client-facing and presentation skills, able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) desirable.
