Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Civil Engineer to guide a remote engineering team in delivering innovative infrastructure solutions. You will direct technical direction, design, and oversight of civil projects, ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability across diverse works.

The role requires a PE license, a Master’s in Civil Engineering, and 8+ years in design and project management. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with clients and agencies in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Strong expertise in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and related engineering analysis tools.
• Experience mentoring junior staff in a remote setting.
• Solid knowledge of geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, water systems, and site developments.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and design teams to foster innovation and technical excellence.
• Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates meeting codes and standards.
• Oversee environmental impact assessments and permit applications.
• Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
