Placements24 seeks a Lead AI Engineer specializing in Generative Models to guide design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge generative AI solutions in a fully remote setting.

You will mentor a team of AI engineers, collaborate with product managers and researchers, and ensure scalable, production-ready systems across text, image, audio, and code generation. This is a remote-first role with broad collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• MSc/PhD in CS/AI or related field.
• 5+ years of AI/ML engineering with a focus on generative models.
• Proven production experience with generative AI systems.
• Strong Python and major DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with large datasets and distributed training techniques.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of advanced generative AI models (GANs, VAEs, Transformers).
• Architect scalable AI systems for generating text, images, audio, and code.
• Collaborate with product managers and researchers to define requirements and roadmaps.
• Mentor AI engineers and promote best practices in software and AI modeling.
• Optimize model performance, efficiency, and production readiness.
• Stay updated with research and industry trends in generative AI.
• Test and validate generative models thoroughly.
• Present findings and progress to stakeholders.
• Contribute to AI infra and development workflows.
