Job summary

Hire Feed is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to spearhead the AI development efforts in a remote-first environment. You will lead a talented team, define the technical roadmap, and drive the lifecycle of advanced ML models from data preprocessing to deployment and monitoring.

The role requires an advanced degree and 8+ years in AI/ML, with at least 2 years in leadership. Proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, plus cloud/MLOps expertise, is essential.

Qualifications

Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
8+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Expertise in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Proven experience in scaling AI solutions and managing distributed systems.
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and MLOps principles.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and machine learning models.
Mentor and guide a team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
Define and implement the technical roadmap for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee the entire ML lifecycle, from data preprocessing and model training to deployment and monitoring (MLOps).
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
