Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.


• 8+ years of experience in mobile network engineering, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on 5G technologies.


• In-depth knowledge of 5G architecture, including SA (Standalone) and NSA (Non-Standalone) deployments, 5G Core (AMF, SMF, UPF), and RAN (gNB).


• Strong understanding of network virtualization (NFV) and software-defined networking (SDN) principles.


• Experience with cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).


• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible).


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.


• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineering teams.


• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa and comfortable working in a fully remote capacity.
