Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a fully remote Curriculum Specialist focused on K-12 Mathematics to develop and refine curricula across platforms, ensuring alignment with national and provincial standards and engaging learners.

You will collaborate with subject experts and teachers, create assessments, and provide guidance and professional development for educators implementing the mathematics curriculum, all within a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in K-12 mathematics teaching or curriculum development.
• Strong understanding of mathematics pedagogy, learning progressions, and curriculum design principles.
• Experience with educational technology and online learning environments is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine K-12 mathematics curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and instructional resources.
• Ensure curriculum content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with national and provincial educational standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, teachers, and instructional designers to review and enhance existing curriculum materials.
