Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join a fully remote team in South Africa. This entry-level role offers exposure to roads, water systems, and site development under supervision, with hands-on learning and collaboration across a virtual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong academic record in infrastructure or civil engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist design and analysis of civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, water/sewer reticulation).
• Perform basic engineering calculations using relevant software.
• Prepare design drawings, reports, and specifications under supervision.
• Gather data for feasibility studies and project reports.
• Support project teams and monitor progress, resolve technical issues.
• Learn and apply relevant codes, standards and best practices.
