Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk to manage stock levels and maintain accurate records for its online retail operations serving Mossel Bay and beyond. The role emphasizes remote-friendly, data-driven stock control and precise data entry.

You will monitor counts, reconcile discrepancies, process shipments, and use inventory software (SAP or Oracle) to forecast needs and support timely order fulfillment from a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory control or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records by monitoring stock levels, counting regularly, and reconciling discrepancies.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase and sales orders.
• Use inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and forecast stock needs.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and report to management.
• Collaborate with logistics and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment and order fulfillment for Mossel Bay customers.
