Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Insurance Data Scientist to drive data-guided decisions. You will design and deploy predictive models for fraud detection, pricing, and churn, collaborating with actuarial, underwriting, and product teams from a fully remote setup.

You will analyze large insurance datasets, translate business needs into data science solutions, and communicate results to diverse audiences while staying current with ML/AI advancements in insurance.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Data Science, CS, Statistics or quantitative field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist with production models.
  • Proficiency in Python or R and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with SQL and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities
