The ideal candidate has deep cybersecurity expertise, experience running security operations in a cloud-first environment, and the ability to foster a security-aware culture among a fully remote workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, InfoSec, or related field.
• 7+ years in information security with at least 3 in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing security operations and incident response in remote environments.
• Strong cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• CISSP or CISM certifications desirable.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, and IAM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's overall information security strategy.
• Oversee SOC functions, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of security professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, experience managing security operations in a cloud-first environment, and the ability to foster a security-aware culture among a remote workforce. This position requires a self-motivated individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of driving security initiatives and managing risks effectively in a decentralized organizational structure. Requirements

• Proven experience managing security operations and incident response in a remote or distributed environment.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
• Experience with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic security plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience managing remote teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
• Experience with modern security tools and technologies, including SIEM, EDR, and IAM solutions.
