Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Information Security Manager to lead security initiatives from anywhere in South Africa. This leadership role requires developing and executing comprehensive security strategies, managing risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fully remote environment.

You will oversee a team of security professionals, manage budgets and vendors, and stay ahead of evolving cyber threats while driving strategic security initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Deep understanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.

About the Role
