Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Infection Control Compliance Auditor to join its healthcare services team. This fully remote role lets you audit infection prevention and control practices across multiple facilities from home.

You will evaluate adherence to protocols, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations. A CIC certification and 7+ years in infection control, including auditing, are required. Strong report writing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Microbiology, or related field.
• Current certification as a Certified Infection Control (CIC) professional or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in infection prevention and control, with at least 3 in auditing/quality improvement.
• Extensive knowledge of infection control principles and public health regulations.
• Experience conducting compliance audits in diverse healthcare settings.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote audits of infection prevention and control programs.
• Review policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with national and international standards.
• Analyze data related to infection rates, hand hygiene, and environmental cleaning.
• Identify deviations from best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with corrective action recommendations.
• Communicate audit results to facility management and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to facilities implementing corrective actions.
• Stay updated on evolving infection control guidelines and regulatory changes.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all audit information.
