Placements24 invites a highly skilled Remote Industrial Data Scientist to join a global analytics team. You will leverage large industrial datasets to predict outcomes, improve reliability, and enhance safety across operations, working fully remotely.

You will build models, run forecasts, and convey insights to stakeholders, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to deliver measurable improvements. A strong background in industrial processes and ML is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a significant focus on industrial applications or complex systems.
• Expertise in Python or R and data science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models (regression, classification, time-series forecasting, anomaly detection).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exceptional remote collaboration and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Industrial domain knowledge is highly desirable.

Requirements
