Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and commission industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Develop and implement robotic solutions for various manufacturing applications.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for installed automation systems.
• Conduct remote system analysis and performance tuning to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with clients and internal engineering teams through virtual meetings and project management tools.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation projects, including design specifications, code, and user manuals.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in industrial automation technologies and recommend their adoption.
• Assist in the development of project proposals and cost estimations for automation solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements.
• Conduct virtual training sessions for clients on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, with a strong focus on PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
• Proven experience with robotic programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA).
• Proficiency in network configuration and troubleshooting for industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts remotely.
• Experience with VFDs, servo drives, and motion control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
