Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Remote Industrial Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated control systems for manufacturing facilities worldwide. This fully remote role enables you to contribute from your home office and support global operations.

You will program PLCs, design HMI interfaces, specify sensors and drives, and integrate robotics while ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Significant experience in industrial automation, PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), and HMI development.
• Knowledge of robotics, VFDs, and industrial networking protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills for remote project management.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other automation systems.
• Develop and implement HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
