Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer industrial automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and robotics integration.


• Develop detailed technical specifications, control strategies, and functional design documents.


• Configure and commission automation hardware and software remotely or by guiding on‑site technicians.


• Troubleshoot complex automation system issues, providing effective remote support to clients and field teams.


• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers, to ensure project success.


• Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation solutions to meet client requirements and industry standards.


• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including programming code, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Extensive experience in industrial automation, including PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi), HMI/SCADA development (e.g., Ignition, WinCC, FactoryTalk View), and robotics.


• Proficiency with various industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus).


• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and mechanical principles.


• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues in a remote capacity.


• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and remote teams.


• Must have a reliable high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
