Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Grant Writer to drive funding for community programs across South Africa, with a focus on the Eastern Cape. You will research grant opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and manage relationships with foundations and funders from a fully remote setup.

Ideal candidates have proven grant-writing experience, exceptional writing/editing skills, and strong ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in grant writing with a strong portfolio of successful proposals.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Demonstrated ability to research and analyze funding opportunities effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple submissions.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with the non-profit sector and social impact initiatives, especially within the Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities

• Research potential funding sources, including government grants, foundations, and corporate sponsorships.
• Develop persuasive and well-researched grant proposals, reports, and applications.
