Qualifications

• Proven experience as a grant writer or in a development role within the non-profit sector.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
• Demonstrated ability to craft persuasive and compelling narrative proposals.
• Familiarity with grant research databases and online submission portals.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, reports, and related documents.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective foundation program officers.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for grant applications and reports.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the organization's overall fundraising strategy.
• Maintain a database of grant activities, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
