Placements24 is hiring a Graduate Data Scientist for a fully remote role. You will join a global data science team, tackling ML, predictive modelling, and analytics on real-world data. The role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and exposure to advanced training.

You will work on data pipelines, experimentation with new algorithms, and communicate findings through reports. Ideal candidates have a Masters/PhD in a quantitative field, strong Python or R skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (data science, CS, statistics, maths).
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms and statistical modelling.
• Proficiency in Python or R with data processing libraries.
• Experience with SQL and large datasets.
• Excellent communication and ability to present findings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy ML models to address business challenges.
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and EDA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives.
• Interpret model results and communicate insights via visualizations.
• Contribute to data pipelines and MLOps practices.
• Stay updated on new DS techniques and research.
