Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Remote Supply Chain Director to lead our global strategy and operations from anywhere. You will design, implement, and manage end-to-end supply chain processes, driving innovation, cost optimization, and resilience across geographies.

You will lead a distributed team, oversee sourcing, logistics, inventory, and demand planning, and negotiate key supplier contracts to ensure optimal terms and performance. This is a senior executive, fully remote role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or director role.
• Proven track record of success in designing and implementing complex global supply chain strategies.
• Experience with supply chain planning, logistics, procurement, and inventory management.
• Exceptional strategic leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing remote teams in a distributed work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global supply chain strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, manufacturing interfaces, logistics, and distribution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the supply chain.
• Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed supply chain team.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate key contracts to ensure optimal terms and performance.
• Implement advanced supply chain technologies and data analytics to optimize decision-making and forecasting.
