Placements24 is recruiting a strategic Supply Chain Director to lead global operations on a fully remote basis. You will design end-to-end supply chain strategies, oversee procurement, logistics, inventory, and demand planning, and drive innovation in a distributed environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in supply chain leadership, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and SCM software. A related degree and certifications such as CSCP/CPIM are highly desirable.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Director to lead their global supply chain operations. This role is structured as fully remote, allowing you to manage and optimize supply chain networks from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing end-to-end supply chain strategies, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply chain strategy to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Oversee all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other supply chain partners.
• Implement technology solutions and best practices to improve supply chain visibility, agility, and performance.
• Monitor key supply chain metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and implement strategies to mitigate disruptions and ensure business continuity in a remote operational setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity overseeing complex supply chains.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory optimization, and demand planning.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with supply chain planning software and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
