Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead global sourcing from a fully remote base in South Africa. You will shape procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance and risk management.

You will mentor a remote team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and champion digital procurement tools to optimize processes. The role demands 8+ years in procurement, including global sourcing and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Eight plus years in procurement and strategic sourcing, with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Experience developing and implementing global sourcing strategies.
• Proven track record in negotiating high-value contracts with diverse suppliers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with advanced procurement software and ERP systems.
• Experience leading a fully remote team and international procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of procurement professionals.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing: supplier identification, due diligence, negotiation, and contract awards.
