Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in GIS, Geography, Geomatics.
- Minimum of 5 years of GIS experience in natural resources or mining.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS and QGIS; PostgreSQL/PostGIS; Python scripting.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain spatial databases for mining projects.
- Perform advanced GIS analysis to support exploration, resource modeling, and mine planning.
- Create high-quality thematic maps, visualizations, and reports from geospatial data.
- Integrate data sources (geological, geophysical, environmental) into GIS platforms.
- Provide technical support and training on GIS tools and methodologies to internal teams.
- Stay updated with latest GIS technologies and applications in mining.
