Job summary

The Virtual Athletics League (VAL) is seeking an ambitious Performance Marketer and Socials intern to join our gaming marketing team. This 4-month paid internship is remote but based in South Africa, with a 40-hour week and pay at 200 ZAR/hour.

You'll work closely with VAL's leadership across project management, creator partnerships, finance and sales, gaining hands-on experience in marketing for the games industry and taking ownership of real campaigns while learning quickly.

Qualifications

• Open to candidates with diverse backgrounds; no experience required.
• Must align with US Mountain Time 6pm–8pm daily.
• Internship provides real project exposure in marketing for games.

Responsibilities

• Support performance marketing campaigns and analytics.
• Assist in managing social channels and creator/influencer campaigns.
• Coordinate with leadership across project management, finance and sales to drive campaigns.
• Contribute to campaigns and hands-on marketing initiatives in the games industry.
