Placements24 is seeking a Remote Community Manager for an online gaming company. You will manage forums, social channels, and in-game chat, acting as liaison between players and the company, with a focus on engaging the Free State player base.

You will organize online events, gather feedback, monitor sentiment, and ensure a welcoming community. This fully remote role offers flexible hours, opportunities to work with a growing gaming brand, and access to company games and merchandise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community management, social media management, or customer support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of online gaming culture, trends, and player motivations.
• Familiarity with various social media platforms and community management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies across platforms (forums, social media, Discord, in-game).
• Monitor community channels, respond to player inquiries, and facilitate discussions in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as a brand ambassador, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all players.
• Gather, analyze, and report on community feedback, trends, and sentiment to inform game development and marketing teams.
• Organize and host online community events, contests, and developer Q&A sessions.
• Manage and moderate community spaces to ensure adherence to community guidelines and code of conduct.
