Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Trade Marketing Coordinator for a contract role. This fully remote position supports the Trade Marketing Manager in in-store campaigns and promotions across South Africa, with a focus on driving sales and brand presence at retail outlets.

Ideal candidates have a marketing foundation, strong project coordination skills, and an interest in FMCG. You will assist with planning, execution, and analysis of campaigns, collaborating with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Marketing or related field.
• 1–2 years in marketing, sales support or trade marketing.
• Understanding of trade marketing principles and in-store promo execution.
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of in-store marketing plans and programs.
• Coordinate production and distribution of POS materials to retail outlets.
• Support in managing relationships with agencies and suppliers.
• Track and report on effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and ROI.
• Conduct market research on trade marketing opportunities and competitors.
• Assist planning and execution of trade shows and retail events.
• Maintain organized records of marketing collateral and campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align trade strategies.
• Manage and update trade marketing calendars and trackers.
