Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Fleet Compliance Officer to oversee nationwide fleet compliance, records, and policy adherence for our client. You will monitor operations, maintain documentation, and implement programs across regions from a fully remote setup.

Applicants should know South African transport laws, demonstrate remote collaboration skills, and communicate clearly with regulators and management.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet compliance, safety management, or related field.
• Knowledge of South African road transport legislation and safety standards.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with national and provincial transportation laws and regulations.
• Develop and maintain records related to vehicle registration, licensing, and inspections.
• Conduct audits of fleet operations and driver compliance documentation.
• Implement and manage safety programs to reduce risk and prevent accidents.
• Stay updated on changes in transportation legislation and advise management.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and assist in responding to inquiries or investigations.
