Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and data science, you will drive growth and user engagement on a global scale, advocate for the customer, and stay ahead of fitness tech trends in a fast-moving remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years in product management with mobile app focus (iOS/Android).
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and UX-driven development.

About the Role

Our client, a cutting-edge health and wellness technology company, is looking for an innovative Remote Fitness App Product Manager to spearhead the development and evolution of their flagship mobile application. This is a remote-first opportunity, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere while shaping the future of digital fitness. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, translating user needs and market opportunities into compelling features and user experiences. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and data science teams to deliver a best-in-class fitness platform that empowers users to achieve their health goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of mobile app development, user-centric design, and the fitness technology landscape. You will be instrumental in driving product growth and user engagement on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the fitness app.
• Conduct market research, user research, and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and unmet needs.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes.
• Prioritize the product backlog and manage the agile development process in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Define and track key product metrics (KPIs) and success criteria to measure product performance.
• Launch new features and products, working closely with marketing and go-to-market teams.
• Act as the voice of the customer, advocating for user needs throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in fitness and mobile apps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products.
• Deep understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong user empathy and experience with user research and usability testing.
• Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard).
• Experience in the health, fitness, or wellness technology sector is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
