Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Warehouse Receiver to join our client's team, supporting operations remotely with occasional on-site duties in Mahikeng, North West. You will inspect deliveries, verify quantities against purchase orders, and record items in the WMS.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to communicate with suppliers and internal teams. This is an excellent chance to grow in logistics within a well-established company.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse receiving experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in counting/recording.
• Able to read purchase orders and packing slips.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to the Mahikeng site as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments from carriers.
• Inspect goods for damage and verify against purchase orders.
• Record received items into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies and report them.
• Organize and stage received goods for put-away by the warehouse team.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
• Follow safety procedures during the receiving process.
• Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
• Communicate deliveries with suppliers and internal teams.
• Adhere to receiving and inventory policies.
