Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Pretoria team, shaping intuitive interfaces for engaging game experiences. You will drive the full design process from wireframes to final assets, collaborating with designers, programmers, and artists to deliver optimal user journeys.

The ideal candidate has a strong UI/UX portfolio, proficiency in Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch, and a solid understanding of user-centered design and information architecture.

Qualifications

Proven UI/UX design experience, preferably in games.
Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work for digital products.
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
Understanding of user-centered design, IA, and interaction design.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive and visually appealing game UI for menus, HUDs, and systems.
Create wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for features.
Conduct user research and usability tests to inform design decisions.
Collaborate with game designers and artists to align UI/UX with game vision and brand.
Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback and user testing results.
