Placements24 is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our Mossel Bay mobile game development team. You will craft intuitive interfaces and seamless experiences that engage players and support game mechanics.

You’ll create wireframes, prototypes, and final UI assets, collaborating with designers, artists and developers in an agile environment. A strong portfolio and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Proven UI/UX design experience with a mobile game portfolio.
Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design.
Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for mobile games, considering player psychology and interaction patterns.
Create detailed wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
Collaborate with game designers and artists to ensure UI designs align with the game's art style and core mechanics.
Optimize UI assets and layouts for various screen sizes and resolutions across different mobile devices.
Maintain a consistent design language and style guide throughout the game’s user interface.
