Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Technology Domain Specialist - 2 to lead the design and architecture of large-scale backend systems. You will drive development across the full lifecycle, from design to deployment, in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.

The role requires hands-on coding daily with a strong focus on REST APIs, polyglot technologies (Node.js, Python, Go) and cloud-native practices across AWS/GCP/Azure.

Qualifications

• B-Degree in Software Engineering.
• 10+ years in a senior role designing and developing large-scale web applications.
• Experience with Node.js, Python and Go backend stacks.
• Experience with testing (Cypress, Jest) and CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines, Spinnaker).
• Experience with SonarCloud, Cloudflare and security tooling.
• Experience with monorepos (Nx) and many FE apps.
• Hands-on cloud experience across AWS, GCP, Azure; containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• REST API development expertise and polyglot tech stack knowledge.
