Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve backend services and systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code in one or more backend languages (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go).
• Develop and manage scalable APIs and microservices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to design schemas and manage data efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring system stability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy discussions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, Ruby, C#).
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
