Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a nurturing nanny in the Nelspruit area to provide full-time, remote-first childcare for two children aged 3 and 6. You will create a safe, engaging home environment, manage routines, prepare meals, and coordinate learning activities with the family.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of nanny experience, First Aid and CPR certification, and strong communication with parents. A clean record and SA work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional nanny or childcare experience with excellent references.
• Experience with toddlers and early school-aged children.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, rapport with children and parents.
• Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for childcare.
• First Aid and CPR certification are essential.
• Clean criminal record and eligibility to work in South Africa.
• Comfort with using technology for communication and remote coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate childcare for two young children.
• Manage daily routines, feeding, hygiene, naps, and playtime.
• Plan and execute age-appropriate educational activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for the children.
