Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Management Consultant specializing in Financial Strategy to join a fully remote team. You will advise clients on optimizing financial performance, capital structure, investment strategies, and overall financial health, delivering actionable plans remotely to a diverse client base.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate finance and strategy, with at least 6 years of progressive experience, and preferably a CFA or CPA.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• CFA or CPA designation is highly desirable.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in financial consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and advising on financial strategies, including capital planning, M&A, and financial performance management.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies for clients, including capital allocation, M&A advisory, and financial risk management.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, valuation, and profitability modeling.
• Advise clients on optimizing their capital structure and funding strategies.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and revenue enhancement through financial levers.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and meetings with client finance teams and senior management.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations for executive stakeholders.
• Stay informed about financial markets, regulatory changes, and economic trends impacting businesses.
• Build and maintain strong virtual relationships with client finance executives, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders in a remote setting.
• Contribute to business development by identifying potential financial consulting engagements.
