Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS or relevant accounting standards.
• Develop and manage the company's budget and financial forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with all local and international financial regulations and tax laws.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Manage cash flow and treasury functions.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent international qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, and controllership.
• Proven experience in managing financial operations and leading finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS or other relevant accounting standards.
• Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent understanding of internal controls and financial risk management.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fully remote setting.
