Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Fiber Optic Network Specialist to design, optimize and troubleshoot large-scale fiber networks across South Africa. You will work with a distributed team to plan cable routes, splicing points, and equipment placement, while ensuring high-speed connectivity and reliability.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Telecommunications and at least 5 years of hands-on fiber design/deployment experience, plus proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan fiber optic network layouts, including cable routes, splicing points, and equipment placement.

Requirements
