Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Exploration Manager to lead mineral discovery initiatives across the North West province. This hybrid role offers remote management with essential on-site reviews of project areas and stakeholders.

You will identify targets, design exploration strategies, and oversee geological teams to ensure discovery and delineation of economically viable deposits using innovative techniques while coordinating a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology or related geoscience.
• At least 10 years of progressive mineral exploration experience with a track record of discoveries.
• Experience in remote or distributed settings; budget management; leadership and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic exploration plans to identify and evaluate new mineral prospects.
• Oversee exploration programs including geological mapping, sampling, geophysical surveys, and drilling campaigns.
