Placements24 is seeking a Remote Exploration Geologist to join their team in South Africa. You will work from anywhere in South Africa, focusing on Mossel Bay area, using seismic data, geological models, and GIS to identify hydrocarbon prospects.

The role requires a Master's or PhD in Geology or related field, 6+ years in exploration geology, and proficiency with Petrel or Kingdom Suite. You will collaborate with dispersed experts and contribute to international exploration projects.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in exploration geology, preferably Oil & Gas.
• Proficiency in seismic interpretation software and geological modelling.

This fully remote position is integral to identifying and evaluating new hydrocarbon prospects. You will leverage advanced geophysical data, geological models, and regional studies to pinpoint areas of interest for exploration activities. This role demands a self-starter who can collaborate effectively with dispersed teams and contribute expert geological insights from a remote setting, supporting the company's global exploration strategy without the need for physical office presence.

Key Responsibilities
