You will analyze data, develop mitigation strategies, and prepare reports for regulatory bodies, collaborating with site teams and consultants from a home-based setup in the Western Cape and beyond.

The role requires an MSc or PhD in Environmental Science, at least 7 years in environmental management within mining, and strong skills in

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental management, particularly within the mining sector.
• In-depth knowledge of South African environmental laws and regulations.
• Experience with environmental modeling and reporting software.
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and work effectively in a fully remote capacity.
