You will support multiple sites, liaise with stakeholders and regulators, and stay updated on new sanitation practices. Strong microbiology and public health knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Microbiology, or related field.
• Proven experience as Environmental Hygiene Officer, Sanitation Manager, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene principles, sanitation science, infection control and health regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency with digital tools for remote work and reporting.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to train and advise diverse audiences.
• Capable of working independently in a remote setting and managing time.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor environmental hygiene programs and protocols.
• Conduct remote assessments and audits of facilities to evaluate hygiene standards and risks.
• Provide expert advice on sanitation and infection control best practices.
• Investigate hygiene-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for staff on hygiene procedures.
• Stay updated on regulations, science, and best practices in environmental hygiene.
• Prepare detailed reports on assessments, compliance status and improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including management and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of waste per regulations.
• Promote health, safety and cleanliness across all sites supported.
