Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers, and craft outreach sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone to book discovery calls for the Account Executives.

You will maintain Salesforce and SalesLoft records, test messaging, and refine targeting with the sales team. 2 years in SDR or SaaS/agency experience is preferred for this full-time remote role.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar role, SaaS or agency experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Experience using outbound tools and CRM software.
• Capable of managing own pipeline and meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
