Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, agency or SaaS experience is a plus, and you should be comfortable with outbound tools and managing your own pipeline while staying coachable.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
• Familiar with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
