Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in email marketing or a similar role.
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid, or Constant Contact.
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and analytics.
• Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems.
• Ability to segment audiences and personalize email communications.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign data.
• Remote work capability and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective email marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Design, write, and test engaging email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action.
• Manage email list segmentation and hygiene for targeted communication.
• Set up and manage automated email workflows (welcome series, drip campaigns, re-engagement).
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (POPIA, GDPR).
