Placements24 is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will craft and execute email campaigns to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention, while segmenting audiences, writing compelling copy, and designing templates.

You will analyze performance to optimize outreach. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in email/CRM marketing, strong copywriting skills, and experience with major platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid, and Constant Contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in email marketing or CRM marketing.
• Proven experience developing and executing successful email campaigns.
• Proficiency with major email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid, Constant Contact).
• Strong copywriting and editing skills focused on direct response marketing.
• Experience with HTML/CSS for email template design.
• Solid understanding of deliverability and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive email campaigns to support acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.
• Segment email lists based on customer behavior and engagement for targeted messaging.
• Write compelling, on-brand copy for subject lines and body content with clear CTAs.
• Design and build email templates using HTML/CSS and drag-and-drop editors.
• Manage email calendar ensuring timely delivery of campaigns and promotions.
• Monitor and report on key email metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions, ROI).
• Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, CTAs, and send times.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (POPIA, GDPR).
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to align with broader initiatives.
