Placements24 is hiring an Email Marketing Automation Specialist for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and optimize sophisticated email campaigns and automated workflows to engage customers and nurture leads at scale.

You will collaborate with a distributed team, applying best practices in segmentation, testing, and data analysis to maximize ROI and drive sales initiatives. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential for delivering personalized experiences from a home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in email marketing and marketing automation.
• Proven experience with one or more major marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Mailchimp Automation).
• Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, personalization, and deliverability.
• Experience with A/B testing and data analysis to optimize campaign performance.
• Excellent written communication skills for persuasive email copy.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email template customization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage automated email marketing workflows and campaigns using marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
• Develop comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
• Segment email lists based on demographics, behavior, and other criteria to ensure targeted and relevant communications.
• Create compelling email content, subject lines, and calls-to-action, optimizing for engagement and conversion.
• Conduct A/B testing on various email elements to continuously improve performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance including open rates and ROI.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the marketing automation platform.
• Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop engaging email assets.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing and marketing automation.
• Maintain compliance with email marketing regulations (GDPR, POPIA).
